The Gym

Where you at?
We are located at 402 – 12th Avenue in SE at the base of the South Guardian Tower in the neighbourhood of Victoria Park in Calgary, Alberta.
Do you have lockers?
Too many lockers. Maybe take two of them. We have small lockers located on the second floor in the hallway leading to the change room for items like car keys + wallet and larger lockers in the women’s and men’s washrooms for your gym bag, jacket and dog. Just kidding, don’t bring your dog. (We are however dog friendly if you want to come by for a treat but we won’t watch your dog during class).
What do you provide?
Clean undies are on you but we provide just about everything else. We have shower towels, sweat towels, hair products, deodorant, moisturiser, body wash, hair dryers, curling irons, flat irons, shower products and sometimes, post-sweat sesh treats.
What if I am late?
Sorry not sorry. If the doors are closed and class has started, we unfortunately cannot allow you into the studio space. Being on time communicates your commitment to your fitness regime and we expect and want you to achieve your goals. Fitness is a #NonNegotiable.
What should I wear?
Athletic gear is a must. Our workouts are a combination of cardio and weight training so cross trainers are the best but not a must.
What is the parking situation?
Victoria Park is a vibrant neighbourhood with plenty of street parking however we encourage members to leave ample time to park. As the studio is located in close proximity to the Saddledome, events in this area can make parking more congested during certain times. Underground parking is also available and accessible along 3rd street on the West side of the Guardian Towers. Members will require a punch code to access the parkade. Please ensure to adhere to parking signs as some spots are reserved for tenants.
Do you have water?
We dig the environment so our facility is disposable water bottle free. Re-useable BPA-Free water bottles are available for purchase with $1 of each bottle being donated to our monthly charity of choice. We have water fountains as well as free rotating flavoured waters like cucumber mint and orange blossom – in case your body feels like something a bit fancy.
What do I need to bring?
Strong mental fortitude. Leave any BS at the door and be ready for a proper workout.
Are there showers?
Yes, because we want to keep you fresh to death! We think we have the nicest change rooms in YYC and carry products from Hedkandi for body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Book Sessions
How do your sessions work?

Have commitment issues? No problem, we’ve been there. We offer single class
drop-ins, as well as five, ten, and twenty class packs. We also offer monthly memberships. Check out our pricing here.

What is a waitlist?
When a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist and if spots come available, we will notify you.
How do I book a class?
You can book a session on our website or via the Mind Body app. If you are having trouble, give us a shout at the studio and we will walk you through how to book.
How do I pay for classes?
From the comfort of your sofa. You can purchase classes on our website or via the Mind Body app.
Cancellation & No Show
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes… but we hope you don’t cancel because we are as committed to your fitness goals as you are. We have a 4-hour minimum cancellation policy. If you cancel prior to this, there is no cancellation charge. If you have a drop-in pass, you will pay full price for your session. If you have a membership, you will be charged full price based on your per-class membership fee. For morning classes at 6:00am and 7:15am we require a cancellation 8 hours in advance prior to class. This ensures you behave yourself the night before… and if you don’t, there’s nothing like a good sweat to clean yourself up. 🙂
What if I don't show up?
We might send a search team and then charge your account. If you have a pass, you will lose a session.
When will my account be charged?
If you have a membership, this will be billed monthly.
You are responsible for terminating your own billing cycle by logging into your online account. Please note our refund policy above.
Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds however for special circumstances passes and memberships can be transferred to another member.
